(WTAJ) — Netflix has vowed to step up the original content game after raising prices not too long ago. The next original series has been announced, and we’re about to go Jurassic!
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous has the green light and Netflix is set to deliver this animated series in 2020. The trailer and announcement officially released today.
The animated series is set after 2015’s Jurassic World movie that featured Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. With DreamWorks taking the reigns, the series will follow six teenagers who were left behind on the other side of the island, while the dinosaurs of Jurassic World are still running free.
The animated series comes out of a collaboration with Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow.
There’s not much known about the cast, yet, but here’s hoping Jeff Goldblum shows up as our favorite, Dr. Ian Malcom!
Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
