One Belgian *Racing Pigeon* has made a name for itself and just sold for more than a million dollars at auction.
The bidder paid a total of $1.4 million for Armando the bird.
It is considered the best long-distance racing pigeon “of all time.”
That’s according to Pipa, the website that organized the sale.
The high price was the result of an hours-long bidding war between two parties.
