Milwaukee Police are asking the public for help in finding 2-year-old Noelani Robinson. An Amber Alert was issued on Monday, March 11, 2019, following her mother’s murder.
The father, Dariaz Higgins, was arrested on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, for charges including first-degree murder. Prosecutors said Higgins shot and killed the child’s mother, Sierra Robinson, and wounded another. Police believe Higgins then took off with Noelani.
They have been following up on tips that she could be in St. Cloud, Minnesota or Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Investigators are exploring every scenario and using all resources and agencies in various states to bring her home safely.
Police Chief Alfonso Morales said Friday that the suspect is “a textbook definition of what we are confronting in human trafficking.”
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Noelani Robinson’s whereabouts.
