(CNN/WTAJ) — Amazon wants to help its employees branch out and become entrepreneurs.
The company announced a new initiative for employees interested in launching their own package delivery businesses.
It says employees can quit…and get the funding they need to become their own boss.
Amazon promises to pay employees their former salary for three months and fund startup costs up to $10,000.
The incentive is an expansion of a Delivery Service Partner Program.
It allows almost anyone with enough start-up money to own their own Amazon Delivery business.
