A fun, new addition to the Hollywood Walk of Fame…Alvin and the Chipmunks!
The gang received the 2,657th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of television.
They posed near their new star Thursday morning.
The owners and producers of the chipmunks, Ross Bagdasarian and Janice Karman, accepted the star on the chipmunks’ behalf.
Alvin and the Chipmunks first appeared in 1958 on a novelty record. By 1983, “Alvin & The Chipmunks” was added to the Saturday morning cartoon lineup that ran until 1991.
