The woman accused of fatally stabbing a Johnstown Middle School janitor back in August was in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday.  Brianne Palmer, 22, pleaded not guilty to all charges at the hearing.

Police say she used the sharp end of a broken wooden handle to murder 59-year-old Rudolph Janisko.  According to police, Palmer said a third party is involved, but they have yet to find any evidence that suggests additional involvement.

“As certain facts were made known to Ms. Palmer, she would change her story to try to correlate with those now known facts,” says Joseph Green, assistant district attorney for Cambria County.

Palmer is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide.

Janisko’s family was present inside the courtroom.  They told WTAJ it was difficult to be so close to their brother’s accused killer.  They are praying for Palmer.  They say they hope she gets the help she needs and they ask that the public to pray for their family.

Palmer has been in the Cambria County Prison since she was arrested last month.
