In Blair County, Logan Township, Altoona, and Duncansville Borough are joining Snyder Township in a burn ban due to the hot dry weather.
No open fires or burning in a barrel are permitted in any type of capacity.
Officials also warn about smoking outdoors, because if not put out properly they can cause a brush fire.
All bans are in effect until further notice.
