More than a dozen people were arrested Friday night after DUI checkpoints in Blair and Centre counties.

Five people were arrested for driving under the influence in Blair County this weekend. About 900 people were stopped during the checkpoint. Eighty-eight citations were issued. One person was arrested on a bench warrant and one person was cited for disorderly conduct.

Meanwhile in Centre County, nine drivers were arrested for DUI on Friday. The checkpoint was conducted along North Atherton Street. 

Police said five people were also arrested for underage drinking and one person was arrested for drugs.

Officers remind drivers to drive sober or get pulled over.
