Children in the region are getting greater access to care for allergies, asthma, and skin problems. Penn State Children’s Hospital has expanded its pediatric allergy and immunology services in State College.
Pediatric allergists Drs. Jeffrey Rosch and Michael Davies are now treating patients at the Penn State Medical Group’s Windmere Centre. They’re also working with medical students and residents from the university’s medical school.
Dr. Jeffrey Rosch says, “we love to teach and while we’re up there, there’s residents and medical students, we’ll take with with us, so it gives us the opportunity to teach.”
Dr. Rosch says he hopes their instruction helps medical students and residents better treat allergies, and interests some in being allergists. Doctors Rosch and Davies still practice at Central Pa. Allergy and Asthma in Altoona, as well.
