Thursday was certainly “Blizzard” weather; that is when the blizzard is an ice cream concotion that helps the Children’s Miracle Network.
Reigning queens and Miracle Kid Caley Halerz along with many other “miracle makers” enjoyed ‘Miracle Treat Day” at Dairy Queen’s Thursday.
$1 or more from every Blizzard purchased at DQ’s here will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger.
As Logan Town Centre DQ Manager Melissa Farabaugh explains, “We see kids every day. We’re all affected. So you hear stories. When you’re in the Dairy Queen system, this is the number one cause that we support. Every year it gets bigger and better and that’s what we strive to do.”
The money raised helps provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and throughout the Geisinger Health System.
