PITTSBURGH (AP) — A man who was a co-defendant and key witness in the shooting deaths of two sisters during a western Pennsylvania robbery gone bad is facing 10 to 40 years in prison following guilty pleas.

Twenty-one-year-old Miras Kelly II pleaded guilty Wednesday in Allegheny County to charges including third-degree murder, conspiracy, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and robbery.

Prosecutors said he and another man broke into a McKeesport home in September 2017 and ended up killing 52-year-old Melodie Robb and 55-year-old Kimberly Lesko. A man was wounded in the shooting.

Kelly testified last year against 21-year-old co-defendant Kylee Lankford, who prosecutor said was the shooter. He was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to two consecutive life terms.
