Police say a man was operating a meth lab at a Punxsutawney home.

Peter Base, 32, faces charges including drug manufacturing and illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste.

Police say they searched the home in the 100 block of Perry Street on Monday, and found precursors for meth and drug paraphernalia.

Base was arrested and taken to jail and his bail was set at $50,000.
