Police say a man was injured in a car crash after setting a house owned by his wife’s ex on fire.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday on Water Street in Summerville.

Police say James Dubrock, 32, Clarion, was taken by helicopter to Altoona.

The complaint says he was caught on surveillance camera setting fire to the house on Main Street an hour earlier, and used a plastic gas can.

Earlier that day, police say a deputy escorted Dubrock out of a Clarion custody hearing involving his wife’s child.

The child’s dad lives at the house that was set on fire, police said.

The complaint says there were 4 kids in the house, including 3 near the front door that burned.

Police say the wheel of Dubrock’s car was found up the road from the crash. Dubrock is charged with arson and his bail is set at $150,000.
