Charges have been filed against a 59 year old man for moving the body of a woman.

 

Ferguson Township Police say Robert Moir of State College is charged with abuse of a corpse.

 

Police say he found the body of 35 year old Corinne Pena in his home on February 14th. He said he saw a needle and spoon on the bathroom vanity, near her body.

 

Police said Moir put Pena’s body in the back of his Mercedes and dumped her along Plainfield Road. He allegedly told police he wanted her body to be found.

 

Moir will be mailed a summons and faces a preliminary hearing on March 23rd.

 

Meantime, the investigation into the cause and circumstances of Pena’s death continues.
