A longtime Blair County community and business leader passed away Monday.
John Kazmaier was instrumental in putting together the Gospel Hill Flag Project and contributed to PSU Altoona and many other educational endeavors in the area.
The Kazmaier Family Building, home to the Office of Development and Alumni Relations and located on 12th Avenue, was named in honor of John and his family.
Kazmaier was honored by Penn State Altoona in 2008 with the Honorary Alumni Award and received the Penn State Honorary Alumni Award in 2016.
