A Chambersburg teen is racing into the new year.
19-year-old Alyssa Rowe is a racecar driver and travels around the country to compete. Her dad got her into the sport when she was just nine years old. She spent the holidays giving back to her fans. She says she wouldn’t be able to race without their support.
“This is a fan-oriented sport. it’s not only your family, but your fans that keep us able to race here each and every week,” said Rowe.
Some of the prize Rowe gave to fans included hats, t-shirts, and gift cards. Alyssa hopes to move up in race classes and race bigger and faster cars.
