STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Penn State and Centre County United Way invite you to a yard sale like no other.
Come out to the 2019 Trash to Treasure event on Saturday, June 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Beaver Stadium.
This is one big yard sale items donated to the United Way by Penn State students living in Residence Halls.
There are things that they can’t take home with them but are in great condition, so they are put in United Way donation bins and sorted for sale day.
You can pay a $5 early bird admission fee and get into the sale at 7:30 a.m or wait until 9:00 a.m. and get in for free.
This works well if you’re shopping for a specific item.
The best part of all is that all the money raised goes to support local health and human services agencies in Centre County.
Everybody wins at Trash to Treasure.
