TYRONE, BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Tyrone-Snyder Public Library is hosting job skills workshops thanks to a grant they received from Google.
The workshops will focus on resume writing and interview skills.
Folks can learn how to do Skype or Facetime interviews, along with some other helpful digital skills.
The library assistant director, Lana Conrad, said they applied for the grant to try to help those in the area needing some extra help in the job-hunting process.
“Anyway that we can help people kinda shift the way jobs are going and job seeker and applying is gong, that’s why we applied,” she said.
The workshops will be next Tuesday and Wednesday at the library from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
