An Elk County woman is out hundreds of dollars after becoming a victim of a scam.
 
On April 1, the victim was contacted by phone number 323-596-1439. The caller said that if she sent iTunes gift cards to them, they would send $10,000 in return to her bank account.
 
When she sent the gift cards, she was told there was a problem and they needed more.
 
She lost a total of $550 in iTunes cards.
