A Huntingdon County woman is now behind bars after police say she tried to get a gun because she wanted to murder a police officer.
Shannon Erb of Huntingdon Borough visited a man back on July 22 and asked him for a gun.
She allegedly told him she planned to use it on a police officer she had romantic feelings for, so he called police.
Officials say when they questioned Erb, she confessed to planning the killing.
She was arraigned and placed behind bars Monday.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 16.
