Around 3 AM Thursday morning, a Lewistown woman was taken to the hospital after jumping from her burning home.
The fire broke out along Shaw Avenue after 1 PM. The woman was trapped on the top floor of the building and tried to escape through the window. She fell two stories and was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
Firefighters had the fire out just before 3 AM but the structure has severe damage.
No word yet on the fall victim’s condition.
