A woman is hurt after a hit and run crash along Woodbury Pike in Bedford County.
Police say that incident happened just before 7:00 last night, when a 68 year old woman was trying to help a dog that had been hit by a car in Woodbury Township.
That’s when they say an unknown driver hit that woman and the guard rail before speeding off.
The woman was flown to UPMC Altoona for her injuries.
No word yet on her current condition.
Police say they are now looking for a white Dodge or Chrysler sedan with damage to the front passenger side.
