A 70-year old woman was killed in an early morning house fire in Blair County, Monday.
The fire started around 4 a.m., at a home along McMullen Road in Tyrone.
Another resident was taken to UPMC Altoona for treatment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and the name of the victim will be released once all family members are notified.
The residence is a total loss, with damage estimated at $100,000.
