Five months after a deadly crash in State College, a woman is now being charged with homicide by vehicle.
The crashed happened on September 12, 2018. That’s when police say 19-year-old Nailah Oliver from Williamsport was traveling on the Mount Nitany Expressway when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting another car.
That car was forced to the right, where it was then hit by a crane truck. The driver, 47-year-old Robert Bloom from Bellefonte was pronounced dead at the scene where his son was also injured.
Police have determined Oliver’s speed was the main factor in the crash. She is now facing numerous charges including homicide by vehicle.
