The Weis store in State College will now be selling beer and wine in its in-store café.

The grocery store received final approval from the Liquor Control Board to operate the café in its Rolling Ridge Drive store in State College.

The 30-seat café sells beer for on premise consumption and take-out. The cafe offers more than 600 varieties, with an extensive collection of local craft beers including those brewed by Otto’s and Elk Creek. The café will also sell 500 varieties of domestic and imported wines for take-out.

It is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Bellefonte and Altoona Weis locations also have beer and wine cafes.
