The United Way in Centre County is getting ready for their 16th annual Trash to Treasure event, and they’re still in need of volunteers.
That event raises money for the United Way by selling items donated by folks in State College, along with items left in dorms by Penn State students.
An entire warehouse of those items has been filled up and now, the United Way is asking for help sorting them all.
That event kicks off on Saturday, June 2nd at Beaver Stadium.
The United Way of Centre County is asking for volunteers to help sort items today and tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
