A local teen battling a brain tumor has passed away.
The Altoona community rallied around Emma Auker after her tumor was discovered in February 2016.
We were told Emma passed away yesterday peacefully with her mom and dad by her side.
Wednesday night a candlelight vigil is sceduled for 7 o’clock at the Altoona High School. If you plan to attend they will be meeting at the Mountain Lion statue.
