Even though Valentine’s Day was Thursday, local restaurants are feeling the love all weekend.
Luigi’s Ristorante in DuBois is one restaurant getting ready for a busy weekend.
Owner Eddie Tate said Valentine’s Day is the second busiest day of the year– just behind Mother’s Day.
“What’s neat about this year is it falls right before the weekend, so we have Thursday, Friday, Saturday,” Tate said. “This is God’s way of helping us get through that bad weather and slow weekends.”
He says the restaurant is fully staffed to take on the crowds.
Luigi’s will also have Valentine’s specials continuing through the weekend.
