A Valentine’s Day dance in Johnstown will spread love, instead of hate.
A community father-daughter/mother-son dance is set for Wednesday, Feb. 14th.
There will be dinner, dessert and a live DJ at the event.
Organizers are inviting other family members to attend and connect with kids in the community, whose parents may have passed away, been deployed or aren’t around.
“If a father is absent, we’re asking an uncle, or older cousin or auntie to come with that child and fill that void for them,” said Gregory Jones, the dance organizer.
The dance runs from 5-8 p.m. at Our Sons Banquet and Catering on Main Street in Johnstown.
Tickets are $30 per couple and $10 per child.
