FRANKSTOWN TOWNSHIP. BLAIR CO. Pa. (WTAJ) — The weather may hamper efforts to find a Blair County man who was the object of a police chase on Wednesday.

State police say it started shortly before 10 a.m. when Blair Township officers responded to a domestic abuse call on River Road between Jeremy Ross and Rachael Abbatangelo. They say Ross involved in that situation, ran from them, they gave chase, and he jumped into the Frankstown branch of the Juniata River.

Jeremy Ross was found dead in the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River at approximately 7:30 p.m.

The search was suspended because of the rising water level due to storms in the area, after lasting for approximately 5 hours.

An arrest warrant for Rachael Abbatangelo was obtained by the Blair Township Police Dept.

She was arrested and committed to the Blair County Jail.
