UPDATE: As of Thursday morning, the man police were searching for is considered safe. Officials say he is now home.

Emergency crews in Clearfield County are searching for a 62 year old man that disappeared from his home in Curwensville earlier today.
Details are limited at this time, but we’re told the man is insulin dependent and doesn’t have his medication.
A water rescue team was sent out to the west branch of the Susquehanna river as a precaution.
