UPDATE: The Altoona Police Department is searching for the suspect or suspects involved in a shooting that killed a 58-year-old man.
It happened Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. near the 300 block of 2nd Street.
Police believe the shooting to be a drug related incident.
A description of the vehicle and suspect is expected to released soon.
Police will release the victim’s name when family is notified.

Police say just after 5:30 they were called to 4th avenue and 3rd street in Altoona for reports of a shooting. The Blair County Coroner was on scene. We will have much more on this story tonight at 11pm.
