UPDATE: State Police say that around 8:20a.m. , they received reports of shots fired inside the Paradise Township Municipal Building.

A viewer took the photo above of the male shooter right after he was taken into custody without incident. We’re told one person is dead, and the coroner is on-scene.

Trooper David Peters of State Police Troop N said, “”There’s no threat to the community or the surrounding area. Unfortunately the building will be closed down for some time so they can process it and do what they need to do with it. Once it can be open, we will do so.”

This isn’t the first time someone has fired shots inside a Monroe County municipal building. In 2013, Rockne Newell killed three people during a meeting at the Ross Township Municipal Building.
