BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — UMI Hibachi Steakhouse is opening a new location, and it’s up to the community to decide where that new location should be.
The restaurant, currently located in Indiana, PA, created a poll on their Facebook page Tuesday, narrowing down the final two locations the restaurant is considering.
The community can vote for the new restaurant to be in DuBois or in Ebensburg, and people have been invited to share their opinions. The poll will be open for the next five days.
The poll on their Facebook page has gotten 27.3K votes so far and has been shared 3.2K times.
Punxsutawney had been in the running for the new location…but has since been knocked out of the running.
UMI Hibachi Steakhouse is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
