Two men arrested in child predator sting.
Brookville Police and the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office began an undercover child predator sting investigation earlier this week using public social media.
Michael Day, 61, of Reynoldsville and James Moore, 54 of Lucinda was taken into custody during the operation and are facing felony charges.
According to court documents, Day and Moore are charged with unlawful contact with minors, two counts of criminal solicitation, criminal use of communication facility and corruption of minors.
Both men are in Jefferson County Jail, unable to post bail.
Moore’s preliminary hearing is October 16 and Day’s preliminary hearing is October 17.
