ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Logan Township Police said two people were taken to UPMC Altoona after a truck rear-ended their car while travelling eastbound on 17th Street in Altoona.

Officials said they were dispatched a few minutes before noon on Friday to the scene.

They tell us the car swerved to try to avoid the truck and ended up in the grass on the side of the I-99 S ramp. The driver and passanger of that car were taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
