JACKSON TWP., CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Cambria County Coroner was called to a home in Jackson Township Thursday morning after police arrived at the scene to find two bodies.

Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees identified both as Marlene Teeter, 57, and Donald Krens, 58, former owners of Direct Value Outlet in Nanty-Glo, according to police.

Officials say Donald called 9-1-1 around 11:30 a.m. saying that he had shot Teeter and was going to shoot himself.

Both were found in the driveway when police arrived to the house on Finntown Road.

Officials say that they were going through a divorce and that Teeter had come home for lunch at which time Donald pulled into the driveway.

They say the two began to argue which led to him shooting her, and then himself.

This is now the second murder-suicide of 2020 in Jackson Township.

“It’s important that I reassure the public in our community that there is no danger from this, it was isolated to this particular house again,” says Jackson Township Police Chief, Phil Vaught.

Police are unsure if Krens had a carrying permit, so it’s unclear how he got the gun.
