State Police arrived at a location in Somerset Township on April 1, 2019, to check on an unresponsive man sitting on the couch with two small children running in and out of the house. The call was placed by Rent A Center employees who were originally let in by a 2-year-old to get their items.
Police determined that the parents of the kids, Nicole Romesberg and Robert Daniels, left them with a known drug user.
Police then found marijuana, scales, baggies, a loaded revolver, various types of pills and bags of suspected meth, all with a street value around $15,000.
Romesberg has over $1,200 in cash on her.
The two were charged with 11 counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and various other charges. They are also charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children.
Daniels and Romesberg are both being held at Somerset County jail.
