Two people have been arrested in an Altoona drug bust. Police are still looking for the third suspect.
Last week, the Altoona Police Department and Blair County Drug Task Force arrested Misty Diane Szebin after making a controlled purchase of crystal meth.
The undercover officer drove Szebin to her source, Alvin “Monk” McNary. Police then went back to the location with a search warrant but neither person was there.
Police then found 3.5 ounces of methamphetamine, 14 grams of cocaine, drug packaging materials, four cell phones, and $1,301.
Police later got a tip that Szebin was staying at the Wingate Hotel and she was soon taken into custody.
Police found another half ounce of meth during another search warrant. Szebin is currently in the Blair County Prison.
McNary was not located and is wanted by the Altoona Police on felony drug delivery charges
Later that night, Altoona Police and the Drug Task Force arrested Ryan Michael Bare after a different investigation.
Police found 571 packets of heroin, 3 grams of raw heroin, a gram of cocaine a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun, 11 cell phones, packaging materials and $2,789 at his residence at 110 3rd Avenue.
Bare is charged with felony drug delivery and firearms offenses and is in the Blair County Prison.
