Two people were arrested Thursday after 48 crack rocks were found in an 8-year-old’s bedroom.
Jennifer Marrero, 31, and Albert Spicer, 31, were arrested after a Cambria County Drug Force Task investigation led to a search warrant at 820 Devlin Street.
Following the search warrant, police found 386 individual crack rocks, along with 15 grams of suspected heroin and a small amount of marijuana.
Forty-eight of the crack rocks were found in the sock drawer of Marrero’s 8-year-old son. The boy was present at the time of the search.
The above address was being used to sell heroin and crack cocaine. Marrero is the renter of the house, but Spicer was the initial target for the drug investigation.
Police said Marrero and Spicer conspired together to sell the crack and heroin. Spicer purchased the drugs and Marrero was involved in the delivery of the drugs.
Marrero is facing multiple charges, including endangering the welfare of a child. Spicer is also facing multiple charges.
Both Marrero and Spicer are awaiting their preliminary hearings and are being held at the Cambria County Prison, unable to post $75,000 bail.
They are due in court later this month.
