LATROBE, WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport (LBE) in Latrobe, Pa., stopped an Indiana County man after finding a loaded gun and a knife.

The items were found Thursday in the suspects carry-on bag. Westmoreland County Police were contacted, and they confiscated the firearm and knife before arresting him.

The gun was a .380 caliber weapon and was loaded with six bullets. 

Thursday’s incident is the third gun caught at checkpoints at LBE in 2019 so far, according to TSA.
