Traffic was stopped on Route 120 in Cameron County for a short period of time today, after a train derailed, blocking the road.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in Emporium.

According to the Cameron County EMA Director, a total of four cars from a western Pennsylvania, New York short line carrying sand through the area derailed. Two of the cars tipped over while the other two jumped the track.

Officials say there were no hazardous materials and thankfully no one was injured.

The road was re-opened about an hour later.
