Woman arrested twice found with over 600 bags of heroin

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Police in Altoona, along with Pennsylvania State Police in Hollidaysburg, have arrested an Altoona woman twice within two weeks on felony charges of drug trafficking and traffic violations.

We first reported her arrest in Altoona after police pulled her over for traffic violations and found 330 bags of heroin, but that turned out to be the second arrest for Behe in less than 11 days.

The first incident occurred on August 6, when Pennsylvania State Police received a tip that 33-year-old Audry Behe was in a home in Altoona.

Behe was a wanted fugitive with several active warrants.

Behe was arrested and taken into custody along with two other males, 32-year-old Ryan Himes and 33-year-old Michael Elvey.

During a search of the home, police found 299 bags of heroin, crystal meth, marijuana, and various prescription medications along with over $4,000 dollars in cash.

The second incident occurred earlier this week on August 17, when Behe was found to be driving 41 mph in a 25 mph area.

The silver Hyundai Tiburon she was driving was registered to another owner.

Police say they pulled Behe over for speeding and found she had several warrants out for her arrest, along with a suspended license.

Police then handcuffed Behe and proceeded with a search of her person and the vehicle she was driving.

During the search of the vehicle, police say they found Q-tips used for heroin along with the 330 bags of heroin, which indicated an intention for distribution, say police.

Methamphetamine, 28 pills of Klonopin, and 1 Xanax pill were found as well, according to the paperwork.

Behe faces felony charges of delivery and possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, driving under suspicion, failed duties at a stop sign, excessive speeding, and not using required turn signals.
