More than $33 million will be used to improve traffic signals across the state.
The reimbursement grant awards can be used on existing traffic signals to upgrade lights or perform regional operations such as re-timing.
Ninety-four municipalities in the region, including College, Ferguson, Patton and Spring Townships in Centre County will split the funding.
