The State College Police Department has announced the following traffic advisories as Penn State students return for the upcoming fall semester.
The department has designated Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18 as Penn State Student Return Days.
One east bound lane on the 600 block of East College Avenue will be closed between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to allow returning students to use the lane to unload vehicles.
Some minor traffic delays are expected.between South Garner Street and University Drive due to the return of students. All vehicles remaining must be removed from East College Avenue by 5:00 pm or they will be ticketed and towed.
