(EAST SAINT CLAIR TWP., BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A 14-year-old boy is under arrest in connection with a threat to an area high school. State Police at Bedford say the teenager threatened via Snapchat that an incident would occur at the Chestnut Ridge High School on Monday.

In a post on the the district’s Facebook page, the superintendent said the school received a Safe 2 Say Alert from the state about the potential threat.

Police say there are no credible threats to the Chestnut Ridge High School. The superintendent says he’s been assured by state police that they’ll be on hand at the start of school tomorrow.
