Two Altoona residents are facing charges after police say a theft investigation turned into a drug bust.
It started just before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday when Logan Township Police were called about a theft from a guest’s room at the Econolodge.
They tracked the suspects, Philip Nicolini and Torianne Dodson to the nearby Super 8 Motel and searched their room.
Inside they found the stolen items and several drugs and packaging materials.
Nicolini and Dodson are both facing multiple charges including possession with intent to deliver.
