Once an abandoned church building, The Woodbury Cafe now serves a full selection of food and coffee.
The owners bought the church from a sheriff’s sales nearly 4 and a half years ago. They did the construction themselves and left parts of the church in tact. This includes using pews as booths, keeping the pulpit, and the original windows.
Owner Kristi Oberman says she loves being able to serve the people of the community that she herself grew up in.
She said, “The customers are great, we love our customers. We have so many regulars. So many people from town here in this community and we just love having them. “
