A teen is in the hospital after he tried to kill a 48-year-old woman.
State Police were called out to a home in Oliver Township, Jefferson County Tuesday afternoon.
They say the victim had been stabbed in the shoulder and hit in the head several times. The 15-year-old suspect reportedly heard voices that told him to kill the woman.
He’s currently at Children’s Hospital waiting for a mental health evaluation.
The woman is being treated at Allegheny General Hospital. The suspect is facing attempted homicide, aggravated assault and several other charges.
