An area supermarket has opened a sizable new beer and wine section.

   

Martin’S Food Market on Logan Boulevard in Altoona has devoted a complete aisle to the products. It’s part of the Beer and Wine Eatery which includes seating for 30 people

 

Store Manager Wendy Evans says Martin’s has hundreds if not thousands of beers and wines combined.

  

“It’s very  similar to what you see at the state stores now is what we get from the same distributor and everything, so we have a very full variety,” she says.

 

Evans says you must pay for beer and wine  at a separate register in the deli area, and, no matter what your age is, you must provide ID.
